Vision Mission and Purpose

The Informatics Engineering study program is one of the study programs under the Faculty of Science and Technology, State Islamic University of Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau. This study program began operating in 1999 based on the Decree of the Director General of Islamic Bimbaga Depag RI No. E/91/1999. In 2012, it received an extension of its operational permit based on the Decree of the Director General of Islamic Education No. Dj.I/123/2012.

Informatics Engineering Study Program's Mission

Mission refers to the involvement of the Study Program in finding solutions to problems that occur in the community

The Following Missions of the Informatics Engineering Study Program are:

  1. Organizing quality education and teachings that integrates between informatics and islamic values.
  2. Carrying out superior research in the field of informatics, which integrates islamic values.
  3. Utilizing informatics studies that are integrated with Islam to carry out community service as a contribution to nation building.
  4. Organizing the governance of the Informatics Engineering Study Program effectively and efficiently in supporting the implementation of the tridarma of a higher education.

Informatics Engineering Study Program's Purpose

Tujuan Program Studi Teknik Informatika UIN Suska Riau adalah:

  1. To produce graduates that is expert on informatics field and also had islamic morals on 2025
  2. Producing research work in the field of Informatics that integrates Islamic values to create sustainable information technology products by 2025
  3. Producing community service activities that apply information technology as a result of education and research to improve the quality of people's lives in 2025
  4. To contribute through integrative and innovative knowledge on informatics studies to build the nation on 2025
